Action teams are developed to assist the leadership council in various aspects of operating Fuel Rochester and to give others a chance to demonstrate leadership in Fuel as well as the greater Rochester community. The following list of action teams will provide an idea of what we are doing and how you can get involved. Each action team has a representative from the leadership council and a chair. Every committee member is expected to sit on at least one action team.
Social
- Promote Fuel and its events to your network
- Plan and help execute social events, including Happy Hours, large parties, etc.
- Plan and/or promote various other events, engaging Fuel’s YP network (e.g. arranging sports teams, Fuel nights with area sports teams, wine tastings, trips, etc.)

Professional Development Events (PDAT)
- Promote Fuel and its events to your network
- Identify professional development areas of interest of area YPs
- Create, maintain and improve relationships with key business leaders in Rochester
- Plan and help execute professional development events
- Mentorship Program

Marketing/Communications (MCAT)
- Promote Fuel and its events to your network
- Promote and engage Fuel in the community through various mediums including but not limited to: print, radio, web, viral, outdoor, word of mouth
- Continually update various blogs on the Fuelrochestermn.com Web site
- Write articles and press releases as needed
- Develop and create promotional materials for Fuel events and initiatives
- Work with other Action Teams on marketing/communications requests

Recruitment/Retention (R/R)
- Promote Fuel and its events to your network
- Develop recruitment/retention strategies for Fuel Rochester members
- Contact Fuel members on an as-needed basis, specifically those thinking about joining or leaving Fuel
- Establish strong working relationships with the Marketing/Communications Action Team
- Work closely with other Action Teams on an as-needed basis

- To enhance relationships between community and business organizations and Fuel
- To inform community and business organizations, owners and managers about the value of Fuel membership to their employees through presentations, brown bag luncheons, informational emails, etc.
- To encourage partnerships between community and business organizations and Fuel, including sponsorships
